Hello seekers,Anyone with a side hustle knows how on-the-side it can be sometimes. Reviewing the results of a recent Instagram poll we conducted, it seems our part-time vintage selling community feels this big time — you’re juggling your jobs, families, extracurriculars and your vintage business. Sellers who have transitioned to full-time cited various reasons for doing so in our survey, including roles as caregivers, too-demanding day jobs and the desire to capitalize on an opportunity to grow their business. Last month, I felt that same pull towards an opportunity. So I joined The Great Resignation and left my full-time job as a magazine editor, which had been also taking a healthy chunk of my free time. I’m excited to now have the space to give The Vintage Seeker the attention I think it deserves, and to tackle some other freelance projects. Your continued support, engagement on the Instagram and visits to the website have meant the world to me, and motivate me to continue developing useful content for buyers and sellers across Canada.
