Hello seekers,

It has been a busy couple of months since launching The Vintage Seeker. I’m so grateful to have met so many sellers and shoppers via our Instagram platform and our website — from Lunenburg, Nova Scotia all the way to Surrey, British Columbia. I look forward to chatting with you more!

A shared passion for vintage has brought many of us together online over the past 15 months. My hope is The Vintage Seeker can continue to do that, from coast to coast to coast, long after the pandemic ends.

When I sat down to start planning thevintageseeker.ca back in November, my go-live date was February 1. That didn’t happen at all — I launched on April 21. Life got in the way! But as a vintage lover, I know good things take time. You don’t find these things. They find you.

Thank you so much for your patience and your support since the launch, it means the world. Please reach out any time with news, events, story ideas, just to say hello or to talk vintage. We’ll be in your inbox bimonthly for now with a roundup of highlights from the site, plus a few extras.

Feeling nostalgic lately?

A collective sense of sentimentality for the “before times” has helped bring people together over the past 15 months. This desire to revisit the past may be one of the reasons why there’s been such an explosion of online interest in vintage fashion and vintage decor during the pandemic.
